Kahana Sunset

Beachfront Unit F-3

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.  Is Kahana Sunset a timeshare?

A.  No. Each of the 79 Units at Kahana Sunset are individually owned and maintained. Each owner is free to rent his or her property as they see fit. The individual owners are solely responsible for the inside of their Unit. The Kahana Sunset Owner's Association maintains the grounds and common areas.

Q.  I noticed that several companies rent at Kahana Sunset. Why rent Unit F-3?

A.  Since each owner is free to rent their property as they see fit, they are free to contract with any rental agent to assist in vacation rentals (or do it themselves). Unit F-3 contracts with the on-site rental program. We believe best serves our guest's since it is on-site (and, thus, able to quickly and easily respond to any concerns), provides for daily maid service, and is managed by the owners themselves.

Q.  Are there any occupancy limits?

A.  The two-bedroom units, like Unit F-3, have a maximum occupancy of six, while the one-bedroom units have a maximum occupancy of four.

Q.  Is, Sunset appropriate for young children?

A.  Absolutely. Kahana Sunset is the perfect setting for young children with its swimming and wading pool along with large grass grounds making it convenient to watch your children at play.

Q.  Is there air-conditioning?

A.  Yes. Unit F-3 has air conditioning throughout that is available upon request for an additional nominal daily fee. Due to our beachfront location, we have found air-conditioning unnecessary except during unusually hot times. There are year-round trade-winds that generally blow from door-to-door through Unit F-3 which, along with ceiling fans and lanai sunscreens, provide a comfortable, tropical environment.

Q.  Are pets allowed Kahana Sunset?

A.  No.

Q.  Can I smoke at Kahana Sunset?

A.  Kahana Sunset is generally a non-smoking environment. However, it has designated areas away from the main buildings as smoking sites (see management for further information)
